ABOUT US
The Asian Institute of Technology promotes technological change and sustainable development in the Asian-Pacific region through qualitative education, research and outreach. Established in Bangkok in 1959, AIT has become a leading regional postgraduate institution and is actively working with public and private sector partners throughout the region and with some of the top universities in the world.

Energy Field of Study (FoS) of SERD has been serving in capacity building in energy related areas since 1979. Energy experts trained at AIT are working in various national and international organization, including planning and development departments of ministries, energy utilities, energy companies, energy conservation agencies, consulting firms and educational institutions. It has been involved in several international, regional and national research projects. A major emphasis of current research activities are on promotion of Renewable Energy (RE), Energy Efficiency and Energy, Environment and Climate, and Energy for Sustainable Development.
ENERGY FIELD OF STUDY (SERD)
The degree program Professional Masters in Energy Business Management under the specialized area of "Energy Business Management" is offered since August 2012 by Energy FoS in collaboration with the School of Management (SOM), providing exposure to modern management approaches to challenge the changing energy business paradigms and energy market.​
